Today is the day I am helping my neighbor by going shopping in preparation for her daughter’s wedding.  She is at the point of experiencing a panic attack, so I offered to help.  We are going to a wedding garter shop to buy a really nice wedding garter belt, and some wedding garters for her bridesmaids as a surprise, plus the wedding favors.  I suggested that we could make the favors and my neighbor said she just cannot muster up any more time or energy to make them, so that was that.  I asked about the bridesmaids receiving a garter and she said her daughter wanted everyone to have a special memory. I laughed and said it’s kind of like a garter wedding.  Then we both had a good long laugh.  She needed that.  It was a nice way to end the day.

When I said wedding bell, my fiance said that he wants them to really ring.  I laughed.  He told me he was serious.  All I had to say to get him to change his mind was, “Honey it will cost a lot more money” and he didn’t give me anymore feedback.  Whew onto the the wedding bell decorating and the wedding bell favors. That’s right both of them. I found a store that sells cheap wedding bell favors and they have my decorations stocked too.  How lucky can I get?  All finished with the bell decorations and the wedding favors and it started out kind of rocky thinking my bells might actually ring.  Things change so quickly, there is no sense in getting excited until you really know what you’re dealing with.  I’m so happy how this turned out!

I used to see that saying, during the summer, when families were traveling.  In our case it’s Ring Bearer Pillows or Bust and we’re not traveling.  Now that I am older I understand the “or bust” portion of this phrase but I don’t feel we will have to go there as there are many wonderful places that sell cheap ring bearer pillows.  This is great news. I’m always ready to save a dime as everyone knows weddings are not cheap.  We’re also thinking about pillow party favors so that every guest would get a pillow favor.  I think this is a cool idea.  Then I’ll have my personal ring pillow and the wedding favors ready to go.

Wedding favors are a great thing to have at your wedding. You can usually get them as a cheap wedding accessory if you just look around and compare things and prices. You will have a great day with any of the wedding accessories that you have picked out. Regardless if you went for the discount wedding accessories or the higher dollar ones, they are all nice. Enjoy your bridal wedding accessories and look forward to saving them for your daughter or another family member or friend.
